Power Seeder
The self-propelled walk behind Mumby Power Seeder is a user friendly dimpler type seeder designed for overseeding fine turf areas within minimal surface disturbance – quickly and efficiently.
The special multi spike drum produces approx. 1500 holes per m and is power driven along with the drive wheels for increased penetration and traction – ideal when working up and down slopes. the hydrostatic drive transmission allows infinite forward and reverse speeds between 0-3mph (0-5kmph) Manoeuvrability is made easy by a differential axle for easy turning. A long-life Honda petrol engine compliments the seeder. The accurate stainless steel seeding system with seed rates between 5-40gms per sq. metre and high-capacity seed hopper are a key feature in making the Mumby Power Seeder the ideal pedestrian overseeder and surface aerator.

Working Principle
The Mumby Power Seeders working principle is simple but effective – The multi spike drum which produces up to approx. 1500 holes per sq. metre is depth controlled via a front axle with 2 wheels and a mid-mounted screw jack for setting the spike depth to 1-15mm the hydrostatic drive transmission powers both the drum and wheels 0-3mph both forward and reverse making a mass of small holes ready to accept the seeds spread by the stainless steel seeding system – some seeds fall into the holes and the remainder are swept in via the rear drag brush – the power seeder can be used both in forward and reverse instantly – ideal when working in confined areas.
